Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring substance within your skin, that when injected volumizes, softens, and hydrates the skin. In addition to these benefits, the injectable gels may stimulate new collagen formation. These fillers have been used for correction of wrinkles, creases, and other signs of aging in order to restore a more youthful appearance. These fillers can also be used for lip enhancement, correction of some facial scars, and replacement of soft tissue volume loss that occurs with age. In general, one can expect results lasting a minimum of six months.
Like the hyaluronic acid fillers, Radiesse is an injectable filler used for the correction of wrinkles, folds, and volume loss, especially around the nose and the mouth. Clinical results of Radiesse typically last a year or longer. |
